(Canadian Priest, Poet, Novelist and Folklorist) Félix-Antoine Savard was a Canadian poet, academic, novelist, folklorist, and priest. After establishing the parish of Clermont in Charlevoix, Savard used the mountains of Charlevoix to draw inspiration for his novel Menaud, maître draveur, which earned him a medal from the French Academy. From 1950 to 1957, he served as a dean at Université Laval in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada.
