Max Handelman is an American sportswriter, blogger, and film producer, known for co-founding the film production company ‘Productions’ and co-authoring the book ‘Why Fantasy Football Matters: (And Our Lives Do Not).’ A graduate from the ‘University of Pennsylvania’ and an MBA from the ‘University of California, Los Angeles’ (UCLA), Max is a great fan of fantasy football and other fantasy sports. He co-wrote the book ‘Why Fantasy Football Matters: (And Our Lives Do Not)’ with his childhood friend Erik Barmack. The two have also collaborated on a weblog named ‘Beyond Bowie,’ where they cover the ‘Portland Trail Blazers,’ the basketball team that Max adores. He is a partner at the film production company ‘Productions.’ Since the release of ‘Surrogates,’ Max has produced a number of films, a web series, and a TV film, including the hit American comedy ‘Pitch Perfect’ and its two successful sequels. He is co-producing the upcoming American action comedy ‘Charlie's Angels,’ starring Kristen Stewart and Naomi Scott. His wife, Elizabeth Banks, is directing and co-producing the film, apart from starring in it.
