Linda Fiorentino is an American actress who came into prominence for her role in the 1985 drama film ‘Vision Quest’ and later earned wider recognition for appearing in the sci-fi action comedy movie ‘Men in Black’. She also garnered appreciation for her performance in the movie ‘The Last Seduction’ for which she won a London Film Critics' Circle Award and the New York Film Critics Circle Award for Best Actress. Raised in an Italian family of eight children in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Fiorentino grew up more like a tomboy, always considering her sisters to be prettier than her. She developed a love for basketball in her childhood and routinely practiced the sport with her brothers. After graduating from Washington Township High School, she majored in political science from Rosemont College with the aim of pursuing a law career. However, in her junior year, Fiorentino got interested in theatre and by her graduation, she had decided to become an actress. Besides being an actress, she is a professional photographer as well and has been active in the area of photography since 1987. On a personal note, Fiorentino was once married to director John Byrum. Currently, she is single.
