Dave Schultz was an American freestyle wrestler who won the gold medal at the 1984 Summer Olympics. He also won six medals, including a gold medal and three silver medals, at the World Wrestling Championships between 1982 and 1993. Dave Schultz was killed at age 36 by John Eleuthère du Pont. His life and death inspired the 2014 film Foxcatcher.
