Amy Davis Irving is an American stage, film, and TV actress who started her film career with the horror flick ‘Carrie’ and has since appeared in numerous movies including ‘The Fury’, ‘Yentl’, ‘Crossing Delancey’, ‘Deconstructing Harry’, ‘Traffic’ and ‘Adam’, to name a few. The actress has also worked on television, most notably in the TV movie ‘Anastasia: The Mystery of Anna’. She has guest-starred in several shows such as 'The Rookies', 'Happy Days', 'Great Performances', 'Spin City', 'House' and 'The Good Wife'. On stage, Irving made her Broadway debut in 1980 when she appeared in the play titled ‘Amadeus’. Her other Broadway credits include ‘Broken Glass’, ‘Three Sisters’, ‘The Coast of Utopia’ and ‘Heartbreak House’. She also performed in dozens of off-Broadway projects, the famous ones being ‘The Road to Mecca’, ‘Ghosts’, ‘The Guys’ and ‘A Safe Harbor for Elizabeth Bishop’. She has been nominated for many prestigious awards like the Academy Awards and the Golden Globe Awards. On a personal note, the super talented and beautiful Irving has been married thrice in her life. She is also a mother of two kids.
