Kaniehtiio Horn is a Canadian actress who has appeared in films such as ‘Leslie, My Name is Evil’, and TV series such as ‘Hemlock Grove’. Horn was born in Ottawa. She decided to pursue a career in acting at an early age. After she completed her graduation from Dawson College, she appeared in multiple short films. Her first important role was seen in the Canadian film ‘The Trotsky’. She also appeared in several television movies such as ‘Too Young to Marry’, and ‘The Terrorist Next Door’. In 2009, she played the main role of Princess Evlynia in the horror film ‘The Wild Hunt’. It received mixed to positive reviews. She also had an important role in the TV series ‘18 to Life’ as well as the horror web series ‘Hemlock Grove’. Her most recent work was the recurring role of Coroner Lucie Cooper in the anthology horror series ‘Slasher’. Horn won the ACTRA Award in 2010, for her performance in the film ‘The Trotsky’, and also the Drama Pitch Prize in 2013 at the ImagineNative Film + Media Arts Festival. She was also nominated for an ACTRA Award for her performance in the series ‘The Man in the High Castle’, and for a Gemini Award for her role in the television film ‘Moccasin Flats: Redemption’.
