Jay Baruchel Jonathan Adam Saunders Baruchel, commonly known as Jay Baruchel, is an actor, producer, writer, and director. He is best known for playing important roles in movies like ‘She's Out of My League,’ ‘This Is the End,’ and ‘Knocked Up.’ Over the years, he has played many comic roles that have resonated well with his real-life personality. In 2007, he won the ‘Best Actor Award’ at ‘US Comedy Arts Festival’ for his performance in ‘I'm Reed Fish.’ In 2010, he voiced a character named Hiccup in the popular computer-animated fantasy film ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ for which he won the ‘Best Voice Acting’ award at the 2011 ‘Annie Awards.’ He would go on to reprise his role as Hiccup in many other films, including ‘How to Train Your Dragon 2’ and ‘How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World.’ In 2019, he won ‘Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program’ at the ‘Daytime Emmy Awards’ for voicing Hiccup in ‘Dragons: Race to the Edge.’ Apart from acting, Baruchel has also established himself as a writer, producer, and director.
