Phillip Schofield is an English TV and radio presenter who is known for his long association with the British free-to-air TV network 'ITV.' He, however, began his career with the channel 'BBC' and its radio station. He later signed a contract with 'ITV.' Phillip hosted a lot of shows for both the networks before he became an 'ITV' in-house presenter. His last 'BBC' show was 'Test the Nation,' and he then joined 'ITV' and continued working for them for the rest of his career. His most prominent 'ITV' show has been 'This Morning' (2002–present), which he co-hosts with Holly Willoughby. The show dragged Phillip into a controversy that led him to pay a hefty amount as compensation to a British politician. Other 'ITV' shows hosted by Phillip are 'Dancing on Ice' (2006–2014, 2018–present), 'All Star Mr & Mrs' (2008–2016), 'The Cube' (2009–2015), and '5 Gold Rings' (2017–present). In his career to date, Phillip has shared screen space, as a host, with various celebrity presenters, such as Fern Britton, Christine Lampard, Julie Etchingham, Amanda Holden, and Christine Bleakley. A wine enthusiast, Phillip is an active supporter of gay rights and homosexual marriage. He is married to a former TV production assistant and has two daughters.
