Cherie Lunghi is an English actor who created quite a frenzy with her elegant and sassy moves on ‘BBC’s widely popular celebrity reality series ‘Strictly Come Dancing.’ She was the season’s favorite celebrity on the show, but Lunghi’s participation was cut short due to a controversy around her being a trained dancer. A former student of the ‘Central School of Speech and Drama,’ Lunghi started her professional career at the age of 13, with a ‘BBC Radio’ production of ‘Alice in Wonderland.’ Her most memorable performance to date has been in the drama series ‘The Manageress,’ where she was seen managing a football team as an independent modern woman.
