Gloria Anne Borger is an experienced American political analyst, journalist, news anchor, presenter, and columnist, who presently serves as the chief political analyst at ‘CNN.’ A graduate from Colgate University, she commenced her journey in journalism with political news coverage at the daily afternoon-newspaper ‘Washington Star.’ Moving on, she worked with several reputed organizations. She worked for ‘U.S. News & World Report’ magazine as a columnist and contributing editor, for ‘CBS News’ as a national political correspondent, and for ‘CNBC’s’ ‘Capital Report’ as a co-anchor. She featured in various ‘CBS’ programs, including the American weekly primetime news-magazine program ‘60 Minutes II’ and the American Sunday-morning political interview show ‘Face the Nation.’ She has also appeared in several shows of ‘CNN’ after joining the network in 2007. These include ‘The Lead with Jake Tapper,’ ‘The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer,’ and ‘John King, USA.’ Her career, spanning over four decades in journalism, saw her receiving several awards and honors. These included being part of the ‘CNN’ team that won a ‘Primetime Emmy’ award for presenting the live coverage of the 2012 US elections.
