D.J. Cotrona is an American actor, best known for starring in the series ‘From Dusk till Dawn’ and the film ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation.’ Born and raised in New Haven, Connecticut, he moved to Boston later. He studied to be a lawyer at the ‘Northeastern University.’ He realized his passion for acting in the sophomore year of college and decided to pursue his passion. He was interested in films even in his younger days. He later moved to Los Angeles and began auditioning. After a little struggle, he made his acting debut in an episode of ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ in 2003 and went on to play a supporting role in the series ‘Skin.’ In 2005, he made his film debut, playing the supporting role of ‘Sean’ in the horror film ‘Venom.’ He then starred in films such as ‘Love is the Drug’ and ‘Dear John.’ However, he got his major breakthrough in 2013, when he was cast to play ‘Flint’ in the action film ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation,’ which was a huge box-office success. On TV, he became popular for playing ‘Seth Gecko’ in Robert Rodriguez’s series ‘From Dusk till Dawn.’
