Michael Eisner is an American entertainment mogul and a former chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) of the 'The Walt Disney Company.' He is credited for turning around the once-ailing organization. He joined the company in 1984 and served until he was compelled to step down by other influential stakeholders in mid-2005. Having worked as the presenter of 'The Wonderful World of Disney' for more than one and a half decades, he became the face of the organization and was hugely popular with children. During his tenure, ‘Disney’ revived its old content, widened its offerings, acquired companies, and bought copyrights of some of the best content created. Before moving to ‘Disney,’ Eisner worked with his mentor, Barry Diller, at the 'American Broadcasting Company' and 'Paramount Pictures.'
