Ben Mendelsohn is an Australian actor who first came into the public eye following his appearance in the Australian drama film ‘The Year My Voice Broke’. However, it was his magnificent performance in the crime drama ‘Animal Kingdom’, more than two decades later that put him on the map as he earned international fame and recognition. Netflix originals series ‘Bloodline’ won him accolades from critics and viewers and helped him win the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. He has appeared in numerous supporting roles of which his role in ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ and ‘The Place Beyond the Pines’ are the most popular ones. He stated that his supporting role in Star Wars franchise's ‘Rogue One’ was a dream come true for him. In the biographical war drama ‘Darkest Hour’ he played the supporting role of King George VI. He was last seen in Steven Spielberg's sci-fi adventure, ‘Ready Player One’ and will next appear as the Sheriff of Nottingham in Otto Bathurst's ‘Robin Hood’.
