Travis Tritt

Description: (Singer-songwriter)

James Travis Tritt, popularly known as Travis Tritt, is an American country singer and songwriter. He has released 12 country albums until now and most of his albums and hits were released under Warner Bros. records. It was Warner Bros. who recognized Tritt’s talent and sent his demo to LA who in turn asked their Nashville branch to sign him on. Seven of his albums are certified platinum or higher by the Recording Industry Association of America and the highest-certified is ‘It's All About to Change (1991)’, which is certified triple-platinum. He has also charted more than 40 times on the Hot Country Songs chart and won two Grammy Awards, both for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals. He is also a recipient of four awards from the Country Music Association, and has been a member of the Grand Ole Opry. Tritt is unique in the ways he presents himself - he never conformed to the idea of a traditional country singer and left out the standard cowboy hat, instead putting on the rock-style concerts. He is not only a singer but has also acted in various television movies and series. He has his own music publishing company called Post Oak.
