Alexandre Lacazette is a French professional football player who presently plays for the national football team of France and the Premier League club ‘Arsenal’ as a striker. He began playing with a local club ‘Elan Sportif’ at age 7 and then joined ‘Lyon’ and started training at ‘Centre Tola Vologe.’ After going through its youth system, Lacazette made his first team debut with ‘Lyon’ in a ‘Ligue 1’ home match in May 2010 and signed a three-year deal with the club in July that year. He helped ‘Lyon’ win ‘Coupe de France’ and ‘Trophée des Champions’ in 2012. He joined ‘Arsenal’ in July 2017, and won the ‘FA Community Shield’ that year. He has won several laurels in his club career, including ‘UNFP Ligue 1 Player of the Year’ (2014–15), ‘Ligue 1 Top Goalscorer’ (2014–15), and ‘UNFP Ligue 1 Team of the Year’ (2013–14, 2014–15 and 2016–17) among others. He started his international youth career with the France U16 team in 2006 and represented France at all youth levels. His team won the ‘UEFA European Under-19 Championship’ in 2010, as he netted the match-winning goal in the final. His senior international debut happened in June 2013.
