Jeffrey Leon Bridges, popularly known as Jeff Bridges, is an Academy Award-winning American actor, singer, and film producer. He is best known for his roles in films like The Last Picture Show and Crazy Heart. Coming from a prominent acting family, Bridges began appearing on screen as a toddler. One of his earliest significant appearances was on the television series Sea Hunt, where he acted alongside his father, Lloyd Bridges, and brother, Beau Bridges. He received his first Academy Award nomination for his role in the 1971 film The Last Picture Show. Over the years, he has earned multiple Academy Award nominations for films such as Starman and The Contender. In 2009, he finally won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his performance in Crazy Heart.
