Jack Jones

Description: (Singer)

Jack Jones is a celebrated American jazz and pop singer, who has been enthralling his audience for almost six decades. Born in California into a family of well-known singers and actors, he began his professional career at the age 21. Although his first album was a flop it could not subdue his enthusiasm and on moving to San Francisco he began singing at a night club, concurrently working at a gas station during the day. Very soon, he was discovered by a promoter of Kapp Records and recorded his first hit, ‘Lollipops and Roses’ with them at the age of 23. He won his first Grammy Award for it in the following year. Today, he has more than fifty albums as well as quite a few hit singles to his credit. That apart, he continues to perform concerts even now, kicking off his 80th Birthday Celebration Tour in 2018 at his grandfather’s hometown of Aberdare in Welsh.
