Sanjeeda Sheikh is a well-known Indian actress and model who currently works in India’s flourishing Hindi-language TV and movie industry. Born into a Muslim family, she has successfully ventured into both acting and dance in her decade-long career, and has established herself as one of Indian television’s best-known faces. She is also very passionate about dance, which she has been able to indulge by participating in (and winning) several televised dance competitions, including the reality show ‘Nach Baliye 3’ where she partnered with her real-life boyfriend, Aamir Ali. Although her personal life has invited some scrutiny in recent years with allegations of domestic violence levied against her, Sheikh continues to star in several popular Hindi TV programs and films. She also ventured into newer media with a starring role in a web-series, but has since returned to television.
