(Japanese 8th Shikken) Hōjō Tokimune served as the regent to the shogun of Japan during the Kamakura shogunate. He is remembered for his resilience in the fight against the Mongol invaders of Kublai Khan, which ended in a typhoon killing thousands of invaders. He also promoted Zen Buddhism in Japan.
