Monta Ellis

Description: (Basketball player)

Monta Ellis is an African-American professional NBA basketball player. Although currently playing as a free agent, he has been a valuable player for NBA teams like ‘Golden State Warriors’, ‘Milwaukee Bucks’, ‘Dallas Mavericks’, and ‘Indiana Pacers’. Besides being named ‘Mississippi Mr. Basketball’, he was also a ‘McDonald’s All-American’. He also made the first team ‘Parade All-American’ once. In a career total of 833 games, he averages 17.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and has a 45.1 field goal percentage, per game. Inspired by the likes of basketball legends like Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant, he framed his playing style after them. Most of Ellis’ points have come from dunks, layups, and wide-open jumpers. But his one-on-one skills are amongst the best in NBA. His ability to create a small space and then jump over the defender to take his shot, make him a deadly weapon in a team’s arsenal. An injury stopped his upward trajectory towards NBA stardom but Monta Ellis remains hopeful of being drafted after making a strong comeback.
