Melora Diane Hardin is a noted American actress and singer known for her roles as Trudy Monk in the comedy-drama TV series ‘Monk’ and as Jan Levinson in NBC's sitcom ‘The Office’. She began her acting career with the 1977 television series ‘Thunder’ and has since appeared in more than 70 films and TV programs. In 2014, Hardin had a recurring role in the critically acclaimed TV show, ‘Transparent,’ for which she earned an Emmy Award nomination. Born to actress cum acting coach Diane Hardin and actor Jerry Hardin, she was exposed to the show business at an early age and developed a natural interest in acting. She began her full-fledged career as an actress after completing her education and went on to achieve considerable success in her chosen path. Also a talented singer, Hardin has released numerous albums till date, including ‘All the Way to Mars’ and ‘The Meloradrama’.
