(German General During World War II) Erich Hoepner was a German general during World War II. He led his troops during the invasion of Poland and the Battle of France at the beginning of the war. He also commanded the 4th Panzer Group during the invasion of the Soviet Union in 1941. He was a participant in the failed 20 July assassination plot against Hitler.
