Kate Capshaw is an American actress who rose to fame after her role in the action-adventure movie ‘Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom’. The film was helmed by the renowned Hollywood filmmaker Steven Spielberg. Some of her noted work includes ‘Dreamscape’, ‘Power’ and ‘Black Rain’. Following her gig in Indiana Jones, she acted in several movies, starring opposite popular actors including Richard Gere. Indiana Jones also paved her way into meeting her current husband Steven Spielberg. She was previously married to Robert Capshaw. Their marriage fell apart and the duo divorced in 1980. Kate and Steven Spielberg have have a large family with seven kids. She retired from the movie industry in her late 40s and took up charity work.
