Amy Dumas a.k.a Lita is a semi-retired professional wrestler and four times WWE Women’s Wrestling Champion. Her interest in wrestling sparked after she watched Rey Mysterio Jr wrestle on an episode of World Championship Wrestling. She started her career on the independent circuit, briefly working on the same. Thereafter, she participated in the Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) before finally signing a developmental deal with WWE. She was with WWE from 2000 to 2006, following which she has made part-time appearances on WWE. It was at WWE that Amy Dumas first befriended Hardy Boyz, Matt and Jeff Hardy. Together, the trio formed Team Xtreme. In 2000, Dumas bagged the first WWE Women’s Championship title against Stephanie. She repeated her success three more times, her second one the bout against arch rival, Stratus, turned out to be one of the best Women's Championship matches in WWE history. So impressive was her performance that the match is still used as a reference for a new joinee during their training segments.
