Alicia Linda Goranson, also known as “Lecy” Goranson, is an American actress, best known for successfully playing the role of “Becky,” in the hit American sitcom ‘Roseanne.’ This performance brought her critical acclaim and an award nomination in her first year of the show, a rare achievement for young actors. She also made news for her surprise decision to quit the sitcom after multiple successful seasons to pursue college although she continued making intermittent appearances in subsequent seasons increasing the show’s popularity. Although she maintained a low profile following her college graduation, she played main as well as supporting roles in several short films and movies as well as guest roles in long-running TV shows. She keeps a low profile and also volunteers in support of social causes. She is set to reprise the character of “Becky,” her most successful on-screen avatar sometime in 2018.
