Jeanine Ferris Pirro is an American TV personality and former prosecutor, judge, and politician. Currently the host of ‘Justice with Judge Jeanine’ aired on Fox News Channel, she has a number of firsts to her credit—she was the first lady judge elected to the Westchester County Court and the first female District Attorney of Westchester County. She became famous by handling many critical domestic abuse cases and cases of crimes against the elderly when she was the assistant district attorney. Chairing the New York State Commission on Domestic Violence Fatality Review Board is considered one of her biggest achievements. Eventually, she gave up her legal career, and opted for a political career, which was not successful. However, despite dropping out from the race for a Senate seat, her extraordinary work made her influential and powerful in the political scenario. Her political career took a major dip when her husband was convicted of major tax evasion. She then turned to a career in the media and became a legal analyst and a host. As a legal analyst, she is much in demand on TV shows on legal affairs. Her TV shows, where she presents her political and legal insights are quite popular. She is also a regular contributor to several reputed magazines and has penned four books.
