(British Tennis Player) Dorothea Douglass Lambert Chambers was a British tennis player who won seven Wimbledon singles titles in an illustrious career that spanned more than 25 years. At the 1908 Summer Olympics, Lambert Chambers won the gold medal in the singles event. She also won the 1925 Wightman Cup. In 1981, she was inducted posthumously into the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
