Robert John Wagner Jr. is an accomplished and versatile American actor with a rich body of work and a career spanning more than six decades. This veteran actor is best known for his starring roles in the TV series ‘Switch,’ ‘Hart to Hart,’ and ‘It Takes a Thief.’ His most noteworthy role has been that of ‘Number Two’ in the American spy action–comedy film series ‘Austin Powers.’ Wagner developed a passion for acting at a young age and was soon discovered by a talent scout. He made his film debut with ‘The Happy Years’ in 1950 and then signed a contract with ‘20th Century Fox.’ Over the years, he has etched his name in the world of cinema with notable films such as the ‘Austin Powers’ trilogy, ‘The Towering Inferno,’ ‘Harper,’ ‘The Pink Panther,’ and ‘A Kiss Before Dying.’ His notable TV projects include the TV series ‘Switch’ and ‘Hart to Hart’; the miniseries ‘Windmills of the Gods’; and the TV film ‘Love Among Thieves.’
