Jordan Spieth is an American professional golfer playing on the PGA Tour who won both the Masters Tournament and the U.S. Open during the same season, at the age of 21. He also won the FedEx Cup that season and bagged his third major title by winning the Open Championship two years later. He previously held the top position in the Official World Golf Ranking and was named in 'Time' magazine's '100 Most Influential People' list. A first-team All-American in his amateur career, he turned professional during his sophomore year and has a number of achievements under his belt. He became the youngest golfer in 82 years to win a PGA Tour event, the first male in almost a century to win two majors before his 22nd birthday, as well as the youngest American to win the British Open. He has recently been named to the 16-member PGA Tour's Chairman of the Player Advisory Council for a three-year term.
