(American Professional Golfer) Charlie Sifford was an American golfer who won two PGA Tour events. Sifford was the first Black golfer to join the PGA Tour at a time when African-Americans were excluded from PGA events. In 2004, he became the first Black to be inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame. In 2014, he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
