American ufologist Steven M. Greer is known for his relentless efforts and research to prove the existence of UFOs and extra-terrestrial life. He launched both the Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence (CSETI) and the Disclosure Project with an aim to disclose alleged classified government information about UFOs and extra-terrestrial intelligence. Initially trained in Transcendental Meditation, Greer later became a physician and worked as a trauma and emergency surgeon. He had also chaired Emergency Medicine at the Caldwell Memorial Hospital in North Carolina. He later quit his medical career to focus on his research on ufology. Throughout his career as a ufologist, he has penned numerous books, such as Hidden Truth, Forbidden Knowledge and Contact: Countdown to Transformation. He has also produced documentaries such as Sirius, Unacknowledged, and Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind: Contact has Begun. Greer has appeared on various TV shows, held briefings for many senior government officials, conducted media interviews, and delivered countless lectures on UFOs and extra-terrestrial life.
