Johnny Whitworth is an American actor, best known for his critically acclaimed roles in films such as ‘Empire Records’ and ‘The Rainmaker.’ Born in Charleston, South Carolina, Johnny lived with father in Texas following the divorce of his parents. However, he later moved to Los Angeles to live with his mother, when he was 15 years old. Around this time, he developed interest in the show business. In 1994, he made his acting debut in the series ‘Birdland.’ He made his film debut in a supporting role in the film ‘Bye Bye Love.’ He got his big breakthrough in Francis Ford Coppola’s legal drama film ‘The Rainmaker.’ He also appeared in a major role in the 1995 film ‘Empire Records,’ which has since attained a cult status. As for his television career, he appeared in recurring roles on ‘CSI: Miami,’ ‘The 100’ and ‘Blindspot.’
