Alex O'Loughlin is a graduate The National Institute of Dramatic Art, Sydney graduate who auditioned for the character of James Bond but lost out to Daniel Craig kicked off his acting career working on short films and stage productions. However, he received his first break on television and since then had adroitly straddled both the big and the small screens. Winner of quite a few awards, Alex has been held by many as the prime reason for the outstanding success of Hawaii Five-0. Both critics and fans have lauded his ability to play the extremely emotionally complex character with matchless flair.
