Kang Ha-neul is a well-known South Korean film and television actor. He started acting at a young age while pursuing his degree in Theatre from Chung-Ang University. His first major role in theatre was in the musical ‘Thrill Me’. He performed mainly in theatre during the beginning of his career and later diversified into films and television. His performance as Yeon Namsan in the South Korean war comedy film titled ‘Battlefield Heroes’ was his stepping stone onto the big screen. He became a household name with his roles in the television serials ‘Hometown Over the Hill’, ‘Midnight Hospital’ and ‘To the Beautiful You’. He has made a few guest appearances and has been a regular cast member in the travel reality show ‘Youth Over Flowers’. His acting in ‘Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo’ has been one of his best performances for which he won the CF Star Award and the Excellence Award for Actor in a Fantasy Drama. Kang’s name has been associated with a number of his co-stars, but he is yet to get into a serious relationship. He is presently doing his compulsory military service after which he is likely to get back to his acting career. Like most of the modern-day stars, he too has a large following on social media.
