Patrick Kane is an American professional ice hockey player who plays for the National Hockey League team ‘Chicago Blackhawks’ as a right winger. Patrick has always been in love with hockey and excelled at the sport in his early teen years. In the 2004 Ontario Hockey League, he was drafted by London Knights and used the platform perfectly to showcase his skills. In the 2007 NHL Draft, he was among the first prospects and was signed on by the team Chicago Blackhawks as their first pick. As a member of Blackhawks, Patrick has won three Stanley Cups in 2010, 2013 and 2015 and emerged as one of the key players in their star studded line-up. He further became recipient of Conn Smythe Trophy in 2013 and for the 2015-16 season, he won the Hart Memorial Trophy as the MVP for that season. Thus, he became the first U.S. born ice hockey player to win both Hart Memorial Trophy and Art Ross Trophy. He was included in the honourable list of 100 Greatest NHL Players in 2017. For his national American team, he has played in the 2010 and 2014 Summer Olympics.
