(American Amateur Golfer) Francis Ouimet was an amateur golfer often referred to as the "ather of amateur golf. He became interested in golf at an early age and won his first significant title when he was 20 years old. He went on to win the US Open in 1913. He was posthumously inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1974.
