Troy Francis Farshi is an actor from America who is better known by his professional name, Troy Gentile. A native of Florida, Gentile relocated to Los Angeles, California with his family at the age of four. In 2005, he made his screen debut in the sports comedy film ‘Bad News Bears’. In the film, he portrayed Matthew Hooper, a role that earned him a Young Artist Award. He had his TV debut that year as well, playing a younger version of Craig Ferguson in ‘The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson’. He was also cast as the younger version of Jack Black in two different films. In September 2013, he began portraying Barry Goldberg in the ABC comedy series ‘The Goldbergs’. His performance in the show has earned him critical praise. The character is very popular among the fans as well.
