Kate Jackson is an American actress, best known for her roles in television series’ such as ‘Charlie’s Angels’ and ‘Scarecrow and Mrs. King.’ Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, she developed interest in acting during her early teen years. She began modelling at the age of 16 and side by side, she also received training as an actor. She enrolled at ‘Birmingham Southern College’ and took classes in history of theatre. She also received training from the ‘American Academy of Dramatic Arts,’ in New York, before starting her acting career. She made her film debut in 1971, playing a supporting role in the horror film ‘Night of Dark Shadows’ and followed with a lead role in the drama film titled ‘Limbo.’ After making her television debut in 1970 in the series ‘Dark Shadows,’ she appeared playing supporting roles in series’ such as ‘The Rookies’ and ‘Baby Boom.’ She attained most success with her leading roles in series’ such as ‘Charlie’s Angels’ and ‘Scarecrow and Mrs. King.’ She stopped acting in the late 2000s.
