Jorma Christopher Taccone is an American comedian, actor, director and writer best known as one-third of the American comedy trio ‘The Lonely Island’. The sketch comedy troupe was formed by Taccone and his childhood friends Akiva Schaffer and Andy Samberg. Taccone rose to prominence as a member of ‘The Lonely Island’ that have written for and been featured in the American late-night live television sketch comedy and variety show Saturday Night Live (SNL). They created over 100 SNL Digital Shorts including ‘Lazy Sunday’ that became an internet sensation and the Emmy-winning ‘Dick in a Box’ featuring Justin Timberlake. The cult classic American action comedy film ‘MacGruber’ based on the SNL’s sketch bearing same name was co-written and directed by Taccone. He also co-wrote, co-directed and co-starred in the American mockumentary comedy film ‘Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping’.  Other works of Taccone includes featuring in the movies ‘Hot Rod’ and ‘It Happened in L.A.’; contributing voice roles in the movies ‘The Lego Movie’, ‘Storks’ and ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’; appearing in television series like ‘Girls’, ‘The League’ and ‘Comedy Bang! Bang!’; and directing a few episodes of the television series ‘Miracle Workers’ and ‘The Last O.G.’.
