Brian Keith was an American film, television, and stage actor. He gained more recognition in the later part of his career. Born to actor parents, Keith was exposed to acting right from his childhood. He appeared in a silent movie at the age of three. He joined the ‘United States Marine Corps’ and served in the Second World War. After his tryst with military service, Keith returned to acting. He made guest appearances in television series, such as ‘The Ford Television Theatre,’ ‘Alfred Hitchcock Presents,’ and ‘The Untouchables.’ In his early career, Keith performed tough characters with villainous backgrounds, but with ‘Parent Trap’ Brian Keith moved to a different genre. Following this, he was cast in series such as ‘Family Affair,’ and ‘The Russians Are Coming, the Russians Are Coming.’ He starred in several movies, too, including ‘The Wind and the Lion,’ ‘Death Before Dishonor,’ and ‘Rough Riders.’ Keith was a versatile actor, who proved his mettle across different genres. In his last days, he suffered from lung cancer. Years after his death, Keith was honored with a star on the ‘Hollywood Walk of Fame.’
