Description:
(Sixth Caliph of the Abbasid Caliphate) Al-Amīn reigned as the sixth Caliph of the Abbasid Caliphate from 24 March 809 until his death on 27 September 813. He was deposed and murdered by his half-brother al-Ma'mun during the Great Abbasid Civil War. Al-Amīn was just 26 years old at the time of his death.
