CeeLo Green is an American singer, rapper, and songwriter. Decorated with five Grammy Awards, he is well known for his hit single ‘Crazy’ which peaked at No. 1 on various singles charts worldwide, including the UK and USA. He has tasted success as a solo artist, as the frontman of Goodie Mob, a Southern hip-hop group, and also with Gnarls Barkley, a collaboration with record producer Danger Mouse. Several of his singles and albums—both solo and collaborative projects—have peaked at the No. 1 positions in the UK and US charts. Being a multi-talented personality, he also appeared as a judge and coach on four seasons of ‘The Voice’. He worked as a voice actor in an animated film and appeared in a few television programs and films, including his own show, ‘CeeLo Green's The Good Life’. Orphaned at the age of 18, he had a troubled youth which led him to become a “goon.” He also suffered from depression as a young man and faced numerous challenges. Determined to make it big in life despite all the hardships, he worked hard to build a career for himself in music.
