Reid Scott is an American actor. He began his acting career with ‘off-Broadway’ plays such as ‘Cargo’ and several TV commercials. His first major break on TV came with the role of ‘Ben Fisher’ in the TV film ‘With You in Spirit’ in 2003, for which he received the ‘Screen Actors Guild’ card. Since then, Scott has appeared in a number of TV and film ventures. His most popular role on TV has been that of ‘Brendan ‘Brando’ Dorff’ in ‘My Boys,’ an original series on ‘TBS.’ Some of his other notable TV roles are those of ‘Dr. Jeff Tseguay’ in ‘The Secret Life of the American Teenager’ (2009–2010), ‘Mike Chilton’ in ‘Motorcity’ (2012–2013), and ‘Seth Riggin’ in ‘CSI: NY’ (2008). He was part of ‘HBO’s ‘Veep’ (2012–2019), as ‘Dan Egan.’ Scott has also appeared in several big-screen projects following his debut with ‘Bickford Shmeckler’s Cool Ideas’ in 2006. Some of his notable films are ‘Amusement’ (2009), ‘Losing Control’ (2011), ‘Dean’ (2016), ‘Late Night’ (2019), and ‘Black and Blue’ (2019). He supports several charitable organizations, such as ‘Oceana’, ‘The Humane Society,’ and ‘The Creative Coalition.’
