Guy Ramsay Ferry, better known as Guy Fieri, is a man of many talents—he is a restaurateur, author, game show host, and television personality. He made a mark in the American hospitality industry by opening a chain of restaurants in different cities across California in collaboration with others. Currently, he is the co-owner of several restaurants in California and licenses his name to multiple establishments, including restaurants in Las Vegas and Baltimore, under the brand Guy Fieri’s Kitchen & Bar. After gaining recognition as a restaurateur, he ventured into television. Based on a videotape he submitted to the organizers of the reality food competition Next Food Network Star, he was selected as a contestant in the show’s second season, which he ultimately won. Following his victory, he began hosting Guy’s Big Bite, which aired on the Food Network. He also hosts the popular food and travel show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, in which he explores and showcases local eateries across America. Fieri has co-authored several cookbooks and has also written one independently.
