Ken Jeong is a Korean-American actor best known to play the quirky role of Leslie Chow in ‘The Hangover’ film series. Apart from that, he has also earned a major reputation playing the role of Ben Chang on the famous sitcom ‘Community’. Ken’s family was originally from South Korea while he was born in Detroit and was brought up in North Carolina. He was an excellent student while he was in school and earned several honours as a student. He started his medicine practice in New Orleans and worked as a doctor and started doing comedy side by side. In 1997, he made his screen debut with the role of a doctor in the television series ‘The Big Easy’. During the first decade of his acting career, Ken remained a physician. It was after his first major film break in 2007 with the film ‘Knocked Up’ that he started taking acting seriously. 2009’s ‘The Hangover’ brought him a widespread fame for the first time and he never looked back ever since. As an actor, he has appeared in films such as ‘Pineapple Express’ and ‘Zookeeper’. His television roles have also contributed in his growing fame over the years.
