Inonge Mbikusita-Lewanika is a distinguished Zambian politician and educator. She began her career as a teacher and progressed to become a lecturer and professor of education at the University of Zambia. Mbikusita-Lewanika also served as a member of Parliament for the Movement for Multiparty Democracy. In 2003, she was appointed as the Ambassador of the Republic of Zambia to the United States.
