Thokozile Muwamba is a trailblazing Zambian pilot who made history in 2017 by becoming the first female fighter pilot in Zambia. She joined the country's military in 2012, leaving her university studies behind. Through the Zambia Air Force project aimed at increasing female representation in the male-dominated field, Muwamba rose through the ranks to achieve the position of second lieutenant. Her dedication and achievements have inspired many and have paved the way for more women to pursue careers in aviation and the military.
