Nakatindi Yeta Nganga was a distinguished Lozi aristocrat and Zambian politician who made history by becoming one of the first women elected to the National Assembly and the country's first female junior minister. Throughout her political career, she held various government roles, including serving as Parliamentary Secretary to different ministers. Nakatindi remained a committed member of the National Assembly until she lost her seat in the 1968 elections. Following this, she continued her public service as a member of the House of Chiefs and governor of Sesheke District until her passing in 1972.
