(Zambian Politician) Catherine Namugala is a prominent Zambian politician with a distinguished government career. She served as the First Deputy Speaker of the Zambian Parliament until 2021, a position to which she was appointed by President Edgar Lungu in 2016. Before this, she was the Minister of Tourism, Environment, and Natural Resources in the Zambian Cabinet. Namugala also represented Mafinga (formerly Isoka East) as a Member of Parliament in the Zambian Parliament from 2001 to 2016.
