Tom Cullen is a Welsh actor, director, producer, and writer. Hailing from a family of actors, his inherent creativity and imagination received all the required nourishment to achieve their full potential. He was primarily interested in music as an adolescent, but in time, a deep love for acting developed. While he was still in college, he starred in the BAFTA Cymru-winning feature film, ‘Daddy’s Girl’. He was also active in the Wales theatre scene, appearing in many small productions. One of the most important roles in his career came about in 2011, in the British romantic drama ‘Weekend’. The film was both a critical and commercial success and Cullen received much praise for his performance. He went on to work in two historical drama series, ‘World Without End’ and ‘Downton Abbey’, co-starred with Liev Schreiber and Elias Koteas in the science fiction-horror ‘The Last Days on Mars’, and played a lawyer in the crime-drama show ‘The Five’. Considered to be a rising star, he is currently portraying a veteran of the Crusades in History’s ‘Knightfall’ and Guy Fawkes in BBC’s ‘Gunpowder’.
